Digital Content Creator
Job description
To create and publish engaging content for various digital platforms including social media, blogs and websites. To collaborate with the team to develop content strategies that align with business/charity strategic plan. To research and stay up to date with digital data to ensure its relevance to the organisation and its effectiveness. To ensure that all multimedia content is of high quality and meets legal/copyright provisions including images, videos and infographics. To monitor and analyse the performance of content and adjust the strategy as required liaising with the Line Manager. To manage and maintain relationships with external vendors such as photographers, videographers and writers in line with the strategy document and in liaison with the Line Manager. To ensure all content is optimized for search engines and meets the relevant standards. To undertake duties in such a way as to enhance and protect the reputation of Training for Women Network. To undertake such other relevant duties from time to time as required.
Responsibilities
- Promoting content on social media.
- Writing, reviewing, editing and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials and similar platforms.
- Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, perceptions about the subject matter and contextualizing findings.
- Creating and publishing engaging content for various platforms such as website, social media, blog etc.
- Collaborating with Training for Women Network's Staff team to create content that contributes to the completion of the strategy document and aligns with the aims and ethos of the organisation.
- Researching on the key SEO terms and implementing them in the content to gain maximum exposure.
- Liaison with the Line Manager on a regular basis and contribute and agree the monthly workplans.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of digital marketing and content management tools and platforms.
- Strong knowledge of web analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in digital content.
- Good organisational skills and work-planning.
- Knowledge of service provision in areas to support women.
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings and travel as required.
Desirable Skills
- A degree in Communications or Marketing.
- Knowledge and/or experience of the charity sector.
- Work well under pressure.
- Influence others in the work environment.
- Ability to follow through, prioritise and achieve objectives.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to undertake further training.
- Flexibility.
Further Information
The Employer is: TRAINING FOR WOMEN NETWORK LTD Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
