Job description

Playgroup Assistant starting in September 2024. They will support the leader in ensuring there is a safe, caring, welcoming environment for children and their families. .

Responsibilities

• High standard of care for children. Lay out the room prior to session commencing and ending.
• Good standards of hygiene are followed and equipment is safe to use. Participate in staff meetings and planning with observations recorded.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum Level 2 Childcare or equivalent qualifications.

Desirable Skills

• Level 3 Childcare qualification.
