Job description

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the role of Junior Warehouse Technician will be based in our busy Mallusk depot. The job will involve the gathering, checking, logging and dispatching of equipment before shipping to site, as well as the receipt, condition inspection and return to stock of all equipment upon return. .

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the Line Manager and incoming Technicians to ensure quality standards are maintained and deadlines are met.
• Timely and accurate preparation of lighting and sound equipment for events.
• Working as part of a team to deliver outstanding service.
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
• Adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• The ability to work within a busy team.
• Ability to adapt and learn on the job.
• The ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Please note this job entails lifting and carrying equipment up to 20kg unaided.
• Must be fluent in English (verbal and writing) in order to follow Health & Safety Instructions.

Desirable Skills

• Previous knowledge of event lighting or sound.
• Counterbalance and/or reach forklift licence.
• Driving licence.
• Computer literacy.

Further Information

The Employer is: PSI LTD. Although this is a full-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
