Job description

The Bryson Care Service provides personal care and domestic/practical and emotional support to enable our service users to live in their own homes for as long as possible. The service aims to help people maintain their independence and give the person as much control as possible over their daily living. You could be making that change to some one’s life and helping them live independently.  Shift Times: Mornings 7am to 2pm, Afternoon 4pm to 11pm (hours can vary). Rota 2 week rolling rota to support work life balance.

Responsibilities

• Assist / support Service Users in their own homes by undertaking tasks based on individual need and specific to individual Care / Support Plans
• Assist / support Service Users in and out of bed and with daily dressing
• To make beds as necessary
• Any other requirements of the job directed from management
• Assist / support Service Users with toileting
• Assist / support Service Users with washing, bathing and showering

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
