Job description

Perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each Dentist in all procedures in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the 'Code of Ethics' of the British Association of Dental Nurses and the GDC's 'Scope of Practice'. Follow all Practice policy and Procedures..

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the clinical environment, including the equipment.
• Carry out Infection and Prevention control procedures to prevent physical, chemical and microbiological contamination in the surgery.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Qualification in Dental Nursing.
• Registration with the GDC.

Desirable Skills

• Experience of using Exact dental Software.
• Experience of decontamination procedures.

Work time: 8.45am-5.45pm Monday - Thursday, 8.45am-4.45pm Friday.
