Job description

The post holder will be a member of the TP&MR group providing a comprehensive Treatment Planning, Dosimetry and Mould Room service associated with patients undergoing radiotherapy treatments..

Responsibilities

• Manufacture shielding devices for electron beam therapy.
• Manufacture shielding devices for photon therapy.
• Take patient impressions for shielding / immobilisation purposes.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A Degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Radiography or other appropriate science subject or a Diploma from the College of Radiography (Therapeutic Radiography) Or A HND/HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject and 1 years experience.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 QA programme.
• Have actively participated in a suitable and extensive technical quality assurance programme.
