The Employer is: PLATFORM MEDIA. You will work closely with our experienced design team to further develop your skills and gain practical experience in graphic design. Assist in the creation of visual content for various projects, including but not limited to branding, marketing materials, digital assets, and print media. .

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of visual content for various projects, including but not limited to branding, marketing materials, digital assets, and print media.
• Support the design team in executing design tasks according to project requirements and deadlines.
• Utilise industry-standard software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) to create compelling designs.
• Develop your skills through hands-on experience in typography, layout design, colour theory, and other fundamental design principles.
• Receive constructive feedback from senior designers and actively seek opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies to enhance your skills and contribute fresh ideas to projects.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Education or experience in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field are preferred. (candidates currently enrolled in a design course are also welcome to apply).
• Strong passion for design with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or other design software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to take direction and willingness to learn from feedback.
• Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• A portfolio showcasing your design projects and creativity (this can include school projects, freelance work, personal projects, etc.).

Further Information

The Employer is: PLATFORM MEDIA. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position.
