Clubhouse Supervisor
Job description
The Clubhouse Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our cricket club's clubhouse and bar facility. This individual will oversee all aspects of clubhouse management including maintenance, stock control, volunteer coordination and customer service. The Clubhouse Supervisor reports directly to the club management committee and works closely with volunteers, staff and club members to uphold the standards of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Facility upkeep and maintenance.
- Participate in clubhouse maintenance of facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety and functionality.
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance tasks, repairs and improvements as needed.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Stock control and inventory management.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Place orders with suppliers to replenish stock in a timely manner, taking into account budgetary constraints and demand forecasts.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Volunteer coordination and training.
- Coordinate, train and supervise a team of volunteers to assist with clubhouse operations.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively ensuring that volunteers understand their roles and expectations.
- Provide ongoing support, guidance and feedback to volunteers to optimise performance and foster a positive team dynamic.
- Rota management and shift scheduling.
- Support management to create and maintain staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours.
- Coordinate shift schedules, taking into account volunteer availability, workload and peak times.
- Adjust rosters as necessary to accommodate special events, holidays or unexpected absences.
- Customer service and engagement.
- Greet and assist club members, guests and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback and concerns promptly and courteously.
- Promote a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among patrons.
- The Clubhouse Supervisor plays a critical role in enhancing the overall experience of our club members and guests, contributing to the success and reputation of our cricket club within the community.

The Employer is: MUCKAMORE CRICKET CLUB Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
