Job description

Ensure all work is produced to the highest quality standard, production targets are achieved, and production runs efficiently..

Responsibilities

• Supply the machines with the correct yarn
• Inspect the Fabric / Socks being produced on the machines
• Effectively communicating any faults / or machine downtime
• Fix Press offs / needles etc
• Maintain the housekeeping within the Department / cleanliness of the machines
• Must have high attention to detail and a very high focus on quality and accuracy and be able to carry out routine tasks time and time again
• Participate in all job training and coaching
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations at all times
• Ensure good working relations with colleagues
• Ensure that company polices are adhered to always, this includes Equal Opportunities Policy, Harassment Policy, Health and Safety Policy and Training Policy
• Any other reasonable duties requested

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• GCSE level to include English and Math or equivalent
• Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy
• Well organised, committed to meeting deadlines and work well under pressure

Desirable Skills

• Experience in the textiles industry

Further Information

Salary: £11.47 per hour for first 13 week training period
