Job description
The Employer is: BOGSIDE & BRANDYWELL HEALTH FORUM. We are a Healthy Living Centre based in Derry/Londonderry but serving individuals from across the North of Ireland since 2007 and we are seeking a details-oriented Administrator to support with the day-to-day running of a busy office. The ideal candidate will work within the Business Support Team and be responsible for providing administrative support to all departments throughout the organisation..
Responsibilities
- Receptionist duties including sort and distribute mail/deliveries, answer and forward incoming calls, and provide basic information via phone/email.
- Schedule meetings and arrange refreshments/catering.
- Maintain office inventory such as stationery and printer ink.
- Assist all teams with scanning, photocopying and filing as needed.
- Ensure information is recorded and stored according to GDPR regulations.
- Carry out administrative tasks associated with arranging events and programmes.
- Occasionally support the Finance Officer with financial transactions including invoices, receipts and payments.
- Occasionally support the Communications officer with updating social media sites as well as create content for social media posts and newsletters.
- Adhere to all BBHF policies and procedures.
- To carry out any other duties falling responsibly within the competence and capability of the post holder.

- Ability to work in a busy office environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work outside of normal hours including evenings and weekends when required.
- Willingness to travel within the region when required.
Further Information
The Employer is: BOGSIDE & BRANDYWELL HEALTH FORUM. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
