We provide a supportive learning environment focused on horticultural and conservation efforts. Our goal is to unleash the potential of young individuals by offering meaningful education, training, and employment opportunities, empowering them to build skills, experiences, and self-confidence. Job Description: As a Conservation Officer at Ravine, you will be instrumental in supporting and implementing our conservation efforts on the farm. Working closely with the Ravine team, you will contribute to the planning and execution of conservation projects while upholding our values of empathy, respect, and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of conservation projects at Ravine.
  • Maintain and enhance wildlife habitats to promote biodiversity and ecosystem resilience.
  • Educate staff and community members on conservation practices and environmental stewardship.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations and permits.
  • Assist in the design and development of an Outdoor Conservation Programme for Young People, Primary Schools, and Youth Groups.
  • Develop engaging and educational activities focused on conservation principles, habitat restoration, and environmental stewardship.
  • Coordinate with local schools and youth organisations to facilitate outdoor conservation experiences and workshops.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to young participants, fostering their interest and passion for environmental conservation.

The Employer is: THE ADVANTAGE FOUNDATION LTD. Location: Knockbracken Healthcare Park. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
