The Employer is: FRED C ROBINSON. A Machine Operative is a role with a wide range of duties including product temperature checks, checking use by dates, receiving inventory, checking for damaged goods, this role will include assisting on the production line, manufacturing and packaging for sausages and fresh pork. .

Responsibilities

• Adhere and work towards the company 6 core values (Adventure, Teamwork, Uniqueness, Responsibility, Honesty and Respect).
• Safely operate and monitor equipment as designated by management.
• Comply with the company's Food Safety Policy and all other associated legal and customer requirements.
• Reporting any low-quality product and product that is unfit for customer.
• Adhere to safe wastage disposal to ensure environmental regulations are adhered to within the department. Keeping wastage to a minimum.
• Participate in company training activities/sessions as and when required.
• Carry out production duties as directed by management/supervisors and team leaders to meet client demand.
• Be able to identify the different product types produced in the department.
• Complete relevant paperwork neatly and accurately.
• Adhere to traceability procedures.
• Providing accurate documentation records for the successful dispatch of products.
• Loading materials and products into package-processing equipment.
• Unloading or stacking products or materials and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Carry out tasks and instructions in line with the company's quality and environmental systems and policy.
• Ensure 'Clean as you Go' is followed daily and prior to leaving the department at the end of the shift.
• Maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.

Desirable Skills

• Previous factory/warehouse experience is an advantage but not a requirement.

The Employer is: FRED C ROBINSON Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
