The Foyle Food Group requires an Industrial Hygiene Supervisor, for our Retail packing operations, Foyle Ingredients, located on the Foyle Omagh site, 52 Doogary Road, Omagh Co. Tyrone. This is an opportunity to join a well-established food processing Company in the UK and Ireland. Working as part of a team to ensure that all current hygiene and cleaning standards are adhered to. .

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the hygiene team and hygiene facilities for the Foyle Ingredients site.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience within a Hygiene Supervisor role
• Previous experience with use of chemicals and awareness of chemical safety
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Awareness of Health & Safety
• Be flexible and reliable in approach to meet the demands of a busy department
• Ability to adapt to physically demanding work, with a can-do attitude and commitment to safety

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience working in a retail packing environment, or
• Previous experience working in a factory environment

Further Information

Work time, hours of operation for the role are currently Monday to Friday totalling 40 hours per week between 5pm-2am during standard operations and 9pm-6am when the evening shift is in place, with opportunities to undertake additional hours at the weekend.
