We are recruiting for the following position to join our team in Belfast Full Time Dispensary Assistant, 40 hours per week .

Responsibilities

• Accepting prescriptions for filing, gathering and processing labels using IT systems.
• Handling telephone enquiries and giving advice while referring callers to the pharmacist when necessary.
• Operating efficient stock control to include ordering and rotation of goods.
• Informing customers on all health and associated products including over the counter medication, minor ailments and services offered by the Pharmacy.
• Promoting new and current product ranges using appropriate selling techniques.
• Till operation and money handling.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Fully flexible to work Monday to Friday 8:30-6:30 and Saturday 8:30-5:00
• Hard working and enthusiastic in your approach to work.
• Able to demonstrate excellent communication and selling skills.

Desirable Skills

• Previous pharmacy or sales related experience.
