Bookkeeper / Payroll Clerk required..
Responsibilities
- Posting to Sage of supplier invoices and supplier statement reconciliation
- Posting of payments and receipts to Sage
- Bank reconciliations (numerous bank accounts)
- UK VAT returns
- Posting of Journal entries to Sage
- Processing of weekly and monthly payroll (desirable)
- Production of periodic profitability reports
- Provide reports to management to facilitate payment of suppliers
- General administrative duties
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Only experienced bookkeepers need apply
- Experience of Sage 50c Accounts program essential
- IT Literate
Desirable Skills
- Microsoft Outlook skills
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience of Sage 50c Payroll desirable
Further Information
Work time: Flexible - partial remote working if desired Only applications from experienced bookkeepers with knowledge of Sage 50c will be considered. The successful applicant will not be employed - the relationship will be on a self-employed basis so likely to suit a professional bookkeeper with spare capacity. The position will be partly office based with an opportunity for remote working. Office visits required to retrieve/file documents and process payroll. The processing of payroll for the business is desirable but not essential. If the successful applicant will be processing the payroll the hours of work will be increased appropriately.
