Job description

The Yard & Warehouse Operative is responsible for receiving, storing, picking and dispatching products, ensuring that there are no missing or damaged items. They assist in the unloading and uploading of delivery vehicles along with preparing and completing warehouse and yard orders for delivery or collection according to a schedule. .

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience of working in a Warehouse & Yard or similar environment.
• Clear understanding and adherence to Health and Safety regulations within a Yard and Warehouse Environment.

Desirable Skills

• Current and valid Fork Lift Licence (training can be provided).
• Experience in stock management, including but not limited to: Receipt, Assembly and dispatch of goods, Stock take, Managing returns, Labelling and Packaging.
• Experience in using warehouse machinery and equipment.

Further Information

Busy Landscape Supply Company. Work time is 8.00am to 4.30pm or 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturday.
