Job description
Randox are looking for an Agile Projects Team Lead to join our team who are design and development of new diagnostic platforms and the continuous improvement of existing platforms (including systems to support internal Randox departments). This role will be based in the Randox Science Park - Antrim..
Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts based on User Requirements.
- Contribute to the development of Functional Requirements Specifications based on User Requirements and approved concept designs.
- Contribute to the development of Software Requirements Specifications based on User Requirements and approved concept designs.
- Work alongside other engineering disciplines, scientists, and Software Test Engineers to ensure designs are rigorously tested, verified and validated.
- Liaise with external design / manufacturing companies on technical specifications and project progress when appropriate.
- Liaise with Purchasing department on the identification and evaluation of suitable suppliers.
- Generate and maintain technical documentation, specifically, but not limited to, code review documentation, work instructions, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), SOP etc.
- Identify and assign project tasks based on skill sets, experience and strengths of the team members.
- Ensure all systems are designed to a high quality, ensuring compliance with appropriate internal procedures and European and International standards.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Possess a higher-level qualification in a Software related discipline or be able to demonstrate appropriate industrial experience.
- Experience of leading a team in a fast-paced industry.
- Experience of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work with and manage multiple projects with a focus on meeting strict timeline deliverables.
- Communicate project information to direct and senior management.
Desirable Skills
- Experience software rigorous testing and reviewing.
- Desire to learn new skillsets to meet the business needs.
- Experience in all stages of a project life cycle.
