Cleaning Operative
Job description
To carry out designated duties to a high service and cleanliness, adhering to Aramark’s standards, policies and procedures, ensuring complete client satisfaction is achieved. The primary responsibility will be working on instruction given by your manager and using your own initiative when cleaning at various locations. Following the Health & Safety sign in / out company policy. .
Responsibilities
- Clean designated areas and areas notified at short notice, ensuring a high degree of cleanliness and presentation is achieved.
- Correctly use cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a safe working environment when working.
- Carry out special cleaning as required.
- Assist with department stock takes.
- Ensure that all equipment is stored correctly and is in good working order.
- Report any equipment defects promptly.
- Adhere to Aramark H&S policies.
- Ensure that all deadlines for completion of work are met.
- Ensure that any client queries are dealt with effectively and quickly ensuring client satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to hours and duties.
- Access to own car.
Further Information
Work time: Monday-Friday 6.30am-3.30pm. We may request an Access NI Disclosure(standard/enhanced) and/or CTC Disclosure, where relevant, to the position/site. A criminal record may not be a bar to obtaining a position (policy of the recruitment of ex-offenders is available on request).
