Job description

The role of the Audiology Paediatric Lead is to manage and co-ordinate paediatric Audiology services across the Trust to ensure an effective diagnostic and rehabilitative service is provided to paediatric patients. To have responsibility for the ongoing development of paediatric Audiology services within the Trust including the implementation of Audiology Quality Standards. .

Responsibilities

• To lead on the development of paediatric Audiology services including management and implementation of Audiology Quality Standards
• To have responsibility for the provision of a direct access paediatric assessment service including ensuring staff are appropriately trained to deliver the service.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• BSc in Audiology/Clinical Science or BTEC in MPPM or equivalent
• BAAT part 1 and II or equivalent

Desirable Skills

• RCCP registered
• BAA member
