Job description

The chef will be an integral and valued member of the team and will be responsible for preparing fresh food to a consistently high standard and delivering exceptional customer service..

Responsibilities

  • Greet and serve customers.
  • Place stock orders and monitor quality of deliveries received.
  • Ensure appropriate stock rotation.
  • Plan menus and prepare an appealing choice of fresh food.
  • Monitor quality of food prepared.
  • Ensures relevant hygiene & safety.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years previous work experience as Chef in busy kitchen environment.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to quickly build relationships with customers.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage time appropriately.

Desirable Skills

  • Level 2 Award in Professional Cookery or equivalent is preferable but not essential.

Further Information

Work Time: 6am - 6pm, days to be confirmed.
