Job description
The chef will be an integral and valued member of the team and will be responsible for preparing fresh food to a consistently high standard and delivering exceptional customer service..
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers.
- Place stock orders and monitor quality of deliveries received.
- Ensure appropriate stock rotation.
- Plan menus and prepare an appealing choice of fresh food.
- Monitor quality of food prepared.
- Ensures relevant hygiene & safety.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2 years previous work experience as Chef in busy kitchen environment.
- Good communication skills with the ability to quickly build relationships with customers.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to manage time appropriately.
Desirable Skills
- Level 2 Award in Professional Cookery or equivalent is preferable but not essential.
Further Information
Work Time: 6am - 6pm, days to be confirmed.
