Job description

The Business Development Mentee will assist the Business Development Manager and Office Management team at Hostelling International Headquarters. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in an organisation that provides experiences and opportunities through hostelling activity and community engagement. The Business Development Mentee will support the work of the Business Development Manager to help grow the organisation through local and international partnerships, supporting our teams to develop our existing business. The Business Development Mentee post will be based in our Belfast Headquarters however they will be required to travel with the Business Development Manager to support the business..

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Business Development Manager.
  • Responsible for reception duties, taking messages and checking Headquarters emails including basic administrative tasks.
  • Support the work of the Business Development Manager in the development of social media strategies including use of social media platforms and website development.
  • Support the Business Development Manager who will source funding opportunities and funding pipelines.
  • Support the Business Development Manager attending HINI and voluntary sector events.
  • Comply with all HINI policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties and tasks assigned by the Business Development Manager.

Further Information

The Employer is: YOUTH HOSTEL ASSOCIATION OF NORTHERN IRELAND Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
