NWCare are delighted to announce that they have recently expanded the company and opened a branch in Rathfriland. We are a domiciliary care agency supporting people across Northern Ireland for over 50 years in healthcare. We are recruiting for community care staff in Warrenpoint. No qualifications or experience are necessary as full training will be provided. You must hold a full driving licence and have the use of a vehicle. Responsibilities

  • Care within the community
  • Personal care - washing/showering, dressing/undressing, oral hygiene, toileting/pad changing
  • Light meal preparation
  • Companionship
  • Leave all areas tidy and safe

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
  • Great communication skills
  • Able to promote and deliver person centered care
  • Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
  • Be well organised/professional/caring
  • Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
  • Care about the community they live in

Desirable Skills

  • Paid care experience
  • QCF Level 2 in health and social care or above
