Job description

NWCare is a domiciliary care agency who have been serving the community in Northern Ireland in healthcare for over 50 years. We have expanded and are now recruiting care workers for Rostrevor. We have morning rotas (07:00 - 14:30), afternoon rotas (15:00 - 18:30) and put to bed rotas (19:00 - 23:00). .

Responsibilities

• Care within the community
• Personal care - washing/showering, undressing/dressing, oral hygiene, toileting/pad changing
• Companionship
• Light meal preparation
• General tidy round leaving all areas safe

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
• Great communication skills
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
