Stock Controller
Job description
We are seeking a Stock Controller for our client, Wrightbus based in Galgorm. .
Responsibilities
- Checking stock levels regularly.
- Completing the required paperwork when ordering stock.
- Updating stock information on the computer system.
- Comparing items received against items ordered.
- Implementing or improving processes and procedures.
- Compiling daily reports and addressing inventory discrepancies.
- Maintaining records of pricing, purchases and other relevant information.
- Performing random checks and audits.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- GCSE level Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Must have stock control experience of at least two years in a similar industry.
- Experience investigating BOM queries and resolving any issues.
- Experience into obsolete stock and determining the outcome.
- Experience in problem solving and resolving queries in a timely manner.
- Experience in using Sage or similar ERP system.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving discrepancies and material shortages.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Able and willing to work additional hours when required.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to forecast usage of material.
Desirable Skills
- 3 Years experience in material handling or in a similar production environment.
- Current Fork Truck Licence.
- Experience in the flow of material from delivery to fitment in a manufacturing facility.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.
- Experience in using Microsoft packages.
