Job description

We are seeking a Stock Controller for our client, Wrightbus based in Galgorm. .

Responsibilities

• Checking stock levels regularly.
• Completing the required paperwork when ordering stock.
• Updating stock information on the computer system.
• Comparing items received against items ordered.
• Implementing or improving processes and procedures.
• Compiling daily reports and addressing inventory discrepancies.
• Maintaining records of pricing, purchases and other relevant information.
• Performing random checks and audits.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• GCSE level Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Must have stock control experience of at least two years in a similar industry.
• Experience investigating BOM queries and resolving any issues.
• Experience into obsolete stock and determining the outcome.
• Experience in problem solving and resolving queries in a timely manner.
• Experience in using Sage or similar ERP system.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Problem solving discrepancies and material shortages.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Able and willing to work additional hours when required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to forecast usage of material.

Desirable Skills

• 3 Years experience in material handling or in a similar production environment.
• Current Fork Truck Licence.
• Experience in the flow of material from delivery to fitment in a manufacturing facility.
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.
• Experience in using Microsoft packages.
