Connected Care Solutions (Ethelcare) is an age-tech start-up committed to improving the quality of life for older adults through innovative technologies and services. We're passionate about transforming the way aging is approached and managed with a focus on enhancing wellbeing and independence. We're looking for an energetic and self-motivated Marketing Intern to join our small team based in Lisburn. As a Marketing Intern, you'll assist in various aspects of marketing operations including content creation, market research and social media management. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a hunger to learn and grow and an enthusiasm for improving the lives of older adults..

Responsibilities

• Demo the company's products to customers (both over Zoom and in person).
• Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies.
• Support the team in daily administrative tasks.
• Help manage social media accounts including creating content, scheduling posts and analysing engagement metrics.
• Perform market and customer research to identify potential new markets and customer needs.
• Assist in organising and planning promotional events.
• Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights for improvements.
• Collaborate with team to help enhance the product.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• High level of efficiency and accuracy.
• Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
• Experience in social media.
• Willing to travel occasionally within the UK to meet with customers/trade shows/deliver training.
• Teachability: Eagerness to learn and apply new concepts.
• Interpersonal skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships, both internally and externally.
• Creativity: Willingness to think outside the box and bring new ideas to the table.
• Analytical skills: Comfortable working with numbers and data to draw actionable insights.
• Initiative: Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Desirable Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of CRM tool (such as HubSpot).
• Experience in a customer-facing role.

Further Information

The Employer is: CONNECTED CARE SOLUTIONS Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Salary: 16/17yrs £5.28, 18/20yrs £7.49, 21/22yrs £10.18, 23/24yrs £10.42 per hour
