The role of a Bingo Assistant will involve: Bingo cashier and counter services. Cash handling and counting procedures. Bingo calling - Full training will be given and not so early into the start date. Customer service interaction. Ordering of stock. Household duties. Reporting to supervisor..

Responsibilities

• Ensure monies are counted correctly including float and prize money allocation.
• Giving bingo pay outs and change.
• Demonstrating genuine hospitality and delivering excellent customer service.
• Data input to record income and expenditure.
• Selling bingo books.
• Calling out loud and clear bingo checks.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Customer service skills.
• IT skills - full training will be given.
• Good listening skills.
• Basic mathematic skills.
• Confident to call bingo numbers although full training will be given.

Desirable Skills

• Previous bingo and amusement arcade experience.
• Previous cash handling experience.

Further Information

The Employer is: STAR BINGO LTD. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Salary: 16-17 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 plus £11.44 per hour.
