Job description

To undertake training in all aspects of blind making. Cutting of aluminium, fabrics, PVC etc. Following direction to assemble into the finished product. All training will be provided. Fitting of blinds if and when necessary with experienced blind fitter..

Responsibilities

• To take direction on all health and safety requirements.
• To undertake training on all aspects of blind making.
• To undertake training on blind fitting.
• Follow company policies when dealing with the public.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good numerical and organisational skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience dealing with the public and basic DIY skills would be advantageous.

Further Information

The Employer is: TOTAL BLINDS. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Please note there is no public transport to location. Salary: 16-17 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 plus £11.44 per hour.
