Job description

We are looking for a fully qualified Baker to prepare different types of bread and a wide range of pastries, like traybakes, cakes and desserts. .

Responsibilities

• Prepare, produce and bake pastries, breads, rolls and desserts.
• Measure and mix raw ingredients, bake and decorate items, and ensure that all raw and finished goods adhere to quality and food safety.
• Demonstrate an understanding of ingredients and food preparation to craft recipes and create baked goods.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Fully qualified Baker
• Knowledge of food production methods
• Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of food hygiene
• Ability to work well with your hands
• Ability to be thorough and pay attention to detail
• Able to work well with others
• Maths knowledge
• Excellent verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills

• To work well under pressure and the ability to use your initiative.
