Job description

The Digital Skills Academy is an 8 week training course. Training for successful applicants will be onsite at Belfast Metropolitan College with potentially an onsite visit to the Version 1 Belfast Office. Training will be delivered by Belfast Metropolitan College to prepare you for an Associate position in potential roles such as: Cloud Engineering, Dev Ops Engineers, Software development, Test Automation Engineers. If you're selected for the academy, you'll receive training in: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Introduction to Cyber Security ,Networking Basics ,Cyber Threat Management , Java & Client Simulation. If you successfully complete the course, you'll be guaranteed a job interview with Version 1. However, successful completion of the academy is not a guarantee of gaining employment. The application process will involve the completion of an online application form and online psychometric assessment. Virtual Interviews will be held between 24th to 31st May 2024. Assessment day will be held at the Version 1 Belfast office on 12th June 2024. Training will commence on 8th July 2024 and finish on 4th Sept. 2024. Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and be eligible to work in the UK, have a Level 5 qualification (HND or Foundation degree) such as a HND in a STEM subject or at least a 2:2 in any degree discipline.

Desirable Skills

• Preference will be given to applicants with at least a 2.2 in a STEM related subject
