Job description

Frying of all our new battered chip shop range lines, including fish, sausages, chicken goujons etc. We will be opening a brand new area at our factory solely for producing these lines and require a person with previous experience. Lines will be produced fresh twice weekly on Sundays and Wednesdays. .

Responsibilities

• To plan, prepare, cook and present food to high standards required by the company
• To ensure the companies Health and Food Safety standards are upheld in line with company policy
• Have the utmost cleanliness, adhering to the H&S guidelines and performing these to first class, 5 star EHO Standard
• Preparation of fish, batter etc Please note working week will be Mondays and Thursdays not Sunday and Wednesday as detailed in the job description
• Waste Management, Portion Control, Stock Control/Rotation

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Preferably candidates will have previous experience in fish frying and have worked in an actual fish & chip shop/restaurant environment
• Organised & methodical worker can work on own initiative and as part of larger team
