Kitchen Assistant based in Cookstown..

Responsibilities

• Cleaning to include dining room, tables, chairs, floors etc.
• Setting tables for next sitting.
• Leaving area clean and tidy.
• Kitchen, dishwashing and stores area floors to be swept and mopped twice daily following meal times.
• To assist the cook /assistant cook with food preparation.
• To assist and support the head cook in the effective operation of the kitchen, to provide an efficient hygiene environment.
• To be aware of the client's dietary needs and respond to their comments and requests in respect of the menu.
• To ensure a suitable Food Hygiene certificate.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full Induction training will be provided.
• Ability to contribute in the serving of food.
• Awareness of health and safety practices.
• To hold a suitable food hygiene certificate.

Desirable Skills

• To complete all mandatory and online and training.
