Deputy Leader..

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day to day management of the setting in the absence of the Pre-School Leader
• To ensure that the childcare provided is of the highest possible standard and that all statutory requirements are met

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Level 5 Leadership for children's Care learning and Development or working towards level 5 or NVQ III Early Years Care & Education and willing to work towards Level 5 or equivalent
• Good knowledge and understanding of NI pre-school curriculum

Desirable Skills

• Experience of managing or leading a pre-school setting
• Good knowledge and understanding of the minimum standards
• First Aid certificate
• Safeguarding certificate
