Purchasing Administrator
Job description
The employer is: IN KLOVER. As a Purchasing Administrator, you will proactively manage stock and build positive working relationships with our artisans and suppliers. Coached by and collaboratively supporting team leaders and management, you will work to maintain accurate stock records and high standards of quality. Purchasing Administrators work alongside the store team and are key to maximising sales, driving efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service across both our online and physical stores..
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all stock is quality checked, stored methodically and maintained to a high standard.
- Act as a brand ambassador, taking a professional approach to developing strong working relationships with our store team, artisans and suppliers.
- Proactively carry out stock takes, maintaining accurate records, pricing and specifications.
- Analyse sales and stock levels to build supplier orders and strategies for maximum ROI.
- Replenish shop floor stock, prepare stock for transfer and allocate to customer orders as per instruction.
- Work on the till using our systems (training will be given).
- Any other reasonable duties to meet business needs.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to think on your feet and remain patient and calm in stressful situations.
- Active listening skills and the ability to accept constructive feedback.
- Ability to work well with others, proactively sharing workloads.
- Willingness to learn main software / computer packages.
- An interest in art and handmade products.
- This role is mainly based in our stores in Moira & Hillsborough but travel may be required across the UK and Ireland e.g. for events, training etc.
- Hours may vary to meet business needs.
Further Information
The employer is: IN KLOVER. Salary: 16-17 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 plus £11.44 per hour. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
