Job description

Site Labourer - Responsible for the upkeep of the site compound and surrounding areas, individual houses under construction and working in a safe and effective manner. .

Responsibilities

• General site labouring duties.
• Loading and unloading of material.
• Moving/Handling of material.
• General Housekeeping both internally and externally.
• Ensuring containers for storage are kept clean and tide and well organised for materials.
• Compound areas to be kept clean.
• Material stored in a tidy manner.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good communication skills
• Perform tasks maintaining all health, safety and environmental rules and ensure work is carried out in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment.
• Work inside and outside in all weather conditions, various locations. Hard hat, hearing and eye protection required to be worn when necessary.

Desirable Skills

• Up to date certification ie: CSR card.
