Job description

We are seeking a Security Operative for our client, based in Carrickfergus..

Responsibilities

• Follow on site security requirements including but not limited to internal and external patrols.
• Liaise with the External security contractor regarding scheduled maintenance, repairs.
• Monitoring CCTV cameras and footage.
• Access control and monitoring of employees, visitors and vehicles according to procedures.
• Searching contractor vehicles as and when required.
• Report any security events in the onsite log.
• Assisting with emergency situations including but not limited to security alert and evacuations.
• Support emergency services.
• Train as a company First Aider

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Must have a Security Industry Authority Licence
• At least 2 years relevant experience
• Flexible to do whatever work is required of him/her within the working day
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
