Multi-Award winning, JN Wine are recruiting an Accounts Assistant/Trainee Accounting Technician based in their Head Office in Crossgar, Co Down. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in finance or looking to broaden their experience as the successful candidate will gain experience in all aspects of the business. .

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable: processing supplier invoices and actioning supplier payments
• Accounts receivable, reconciling customer accounts, issuing statements and assisting with credit control
• Reconciliation of bank accounts, and other financial transactions
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and any other ad-hoc duties as they arise, to support the day to day running of the business

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proficient in MS Excel with good numerical and analytical skills
• Proficient IT skills to work with ERP and accounting software
• Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail
• 5 GCSEs A-C, to include English Language and Maths or equivalent

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience with Stock Management Systems, ERP Systems
• Existing accounting qualification, or desire to complete same e.g. CIMA, ACCA
• Educated to degree level in an Accounting or Business-related discipline or qualified by experience (5years in a relevant position)
• Previous AP or similar finance experience
