Finance Officer Assistant


Job description

To be responsible for general bookkeeping duties to include maintaining up to date records of all income/expenditure, accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, maintaining the asset register, VAT returns, payroll, security of cash and bank lodgements. To undertake general administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Budgeting.
  • Collection and analysing of reports.
  • Create financial statements and other data.
  • Profit and loss analysis.
  • VAT returns.
  • Payroll.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Stock control.
  • Income/expenditure records.
  • Accounts receivable/payable.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 4 'O' Levels/GCSEs grade A-C including Maths, ICT and English (or equivalent).
  • Recent experience in administration and finance.
  • Organisational ability.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritise work.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suites/email.
