The role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including administration, marketing support, client engagement, and the coordination and execution of both virtual and in-person meetings and events. Candidates should possess excellent communication and organisational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and preferably have a background in administration or customer service, with an understanding of the local business ecosystem. Responsibilities

  • The Administrative Support Officer is tasked with executing a variety of administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations within The Workhouse co-working space.
  • This includes maintaining records, managing correspondence, and providing overall support to enhance organisational efficiency.
  • In addition, the officer will play a key role in marketing efforts, engaging with potential and current clients to foster strong relationships.
  • They will organise, coordinate, and lead events and meetings, both online and in-person, aligning with the companys objectives to strengthen community engagement and business development.
  • The position demands excellent communication skills, organisational skills, and a solid grasp of Microsoft Office tools.
  • The officer will actively contribute to and support initiatives aimed at driving business innovation and nurturing the local business community, embodying the colleges commitment to professional development and equal opportunity.

Further Information

This post is part time for 6 months. The Employer is: SOUTH WEST COLLEGE. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
