The Employer is: EVOLV IT LTD. Evolv IT Ltd is a newly established IT managed services company based in Bangor. We support IT systems for organisations throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The number one goal of everyone in our team is to make our clients exceptionally happy. The Helpdesk Technician plays an important role in making sure that happens. As a helpdesk technician, you will handle first level support requests that come in from our clients. In many cases, you will be the first to touch a helpdesk support ticket and make sure that the issue is handled quickly and the client is informed of what to expect every step of the way. When a client needs help, it is the Helpdesk Technicians responsibility to provide support or escalate issues to other members of the Helpdesk team. As a small IT services provider, you will also be involved in assisting with IT project deployments, preparing PCs, laptops and other IT related equipment. You will also be required on occasions to visit client premises to provide support, install equipment or to assist with project deployments..

Responsibilities

  • Provide a first point of contact for customers through our helpdesk, be that via phone, email or ticket.
  • Delight our clients with a friendly, quick and helpful experience.
  • Provide the client with basic remote troubleshooting.
  • Use our ticketing system to work on and resolve helpdesk tickets and service requests.
  • Managing and recording all work though our Ticketing System.
  • Make sure that Client Documentation is well maintained.
  • Make sure that tickets arent 'stale' throughout the process and keep the client updated.
  • Review RMM dashboard and apply remediation actions as indicated by our Processes.
  • Review regularly scheduled/automated actions as indicated by our Processes.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • A love of (and ability to) solve problems & challenges.
  • Great communications skills, founded in being a good listener.
  • A deep desire to deliver an amazing client experience.
  • Basic knowledge of IT Applications, Software & Hardware.
  • Full drivers licence.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience using a Ticketing system / RMM Tool and PSA software.
  • Experience providing support via remote tools.
  • Experience handling Technical Service Tickets.
  • Experience and knowledge of working with the Microsoft 365 Platform.

Further Information

The Employer is: EVOLV IT LTD. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position.
