Forward South Partnership is an independent charity that works with community, schools, business, public and private sector partners to help regenerate and sustain a healthy and prosperous South Belfast. We are part of a citywide structure known as the Belfast Area Partnerships who have led community regeneration initiatives over the past 23 years. The Marketing & Communications Officer will assist with improving the internal and external communication at Forward South Partnership. They will work to keep our partner organisations and the general public up to date with our work through the use of newsletters, social media, website etc. and ensure databases and marketing materials are updated regularly. .

Responsibilities

• Updating and maintaining communication lists within the organisation.
• Developing a marketing strategy and content planner for the organisation using newsletters, website and social media.
• Collating information from project leads for sharing and creating marketing content including developing templates.
• Assisting in project reporting and drafting reports.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
• Good organisational skills.
• Strong IT skills - particularly familiarity with social media, Microsoft Office and Canva or other design tools.

Desirable Skills

• Experience of developing social media campaigns or marketing materials.

The Employer is: FORWARD SOUTH PARTNERSHIP Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Salary: 16-17 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 plus £11.44 per hour.
