The employer is: GRAY'S COMMUNICATIONS. The Marketing Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the marketing team's efforts to create and execute strategic marketing campaigns. This position involves a combination of administrative tasks and creative responsibilities, requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and creativity. The Marketing Assistant assists in the implementation of marketing initiatives, manages various projects, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of marketing activities..

Responsibilities

  • Providing strategic and hands-on support across all marketing related activities and actions.
  • Preparing implementation plans to ensure that client activities are programmed and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Establishing effective networks and partnerships to support and enhance future marketing and communications opportunities & activities.
  • Liaising with and manage external suppliers to provide a high quality of service delivery to ensure all activities are scheduled and delivered on time and within budget.
  • Preparing reports for clients as and when required.
  • A keen attention to detail with great spelling and grammar.
  • An understanding of industry trends, new technologies, software and techniques.

  • Proficiently edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines, ensuring high quality output.

  • Ability to interpret data from these tools, optimise campaigns, and measure the effectiveness of online marketing efforts.
  • Graphic Design and Multimedia Production: Basic proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) and multimedia tools.
  • Ability to create visually appealing marketing materials, including social media graphics, infographics, and short videos to enhance the overall marketing strategy.
