Clinical Technologist - Ionising Radiation Group
Job description
To be part of a team of scientific and technical staff providing comprehensive radiation protection services to HSC and other organisations in N. Ireland. The postholder will be required to manage aspects of the work schedule and staff of the group and actively participate in the delivery of the group’s service..
Responsibilities
- Manage and take responsibility for the work of technical staff within the Ionising Radiation Group as directed by the Lead Clinical Technologist.
- Contribute to the production of monthly quality and performance indicators for the Ionising Radiation Group.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Physics, Radiography) or other appropriate subject. OR A diploma of the Royal College of Radiographers. OR HND/HNC in a relevant science discipline and 1 years relevant experience.
- Good working experience in the use of PC systems and applications, particularly the use of spreadsheets and word processing applications.
