Job description

The trainee will undertake a STP equivalence training programme and will learn how to perform and interpret specialist molecular genetic or molecular pathology diagnostic processes underpinned by theoretical and applied knowledge and practical experience. .

Responsibilities

• Required to supervise the reception, data entry and processing of samples received in the laboratory.
• Co-ordinate with the section head in assessing the appropriateness of test assignments for each sample received.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• At least 1 years relevant post-graduate laboratory experience in Molecular Biology/Genetics molecular pathology haematology or another relevant area.
