Social Media & Content Assistant

The Employer is: SOCIAL ENTERPRISE NI. Social Enterprise NI is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media & Content Assistant. This role is perfect for a highly motivated individual with a passion for social entrepreneurship and a talent for digital communication. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our social media presence, creating engaging content, and fostering member engagement through various digital platforms. .
Responsibilities
- Social Media Management.
- Develop and post engaging content across our social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) derived from our mailshot content and other sources.
- Create agile social media content as per organisational needs, ensuring timeliness and relevance.
- Perform daily monitoring of all social media channels, actively engaging with our audience by liking, sharing, and responding to comments.
- Promote events effectively on social media, including creating and managing Facebook and LinkedIn event pages.
- Mailshot Coordination.
- Collect, curate, and create content for our weekly mailshot, ensuring it aligns with our brand voice and member interests. Collaborate with team members to gather insights, stories, and updates for inclusion in the mailshot.
- Member Engagement.
- Monitor social media activities of our members, sharing relevant content to our platforms and mailshot to foster a sense of community and collaboration. Engage with members online to increase their visibility and promote their initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Ability to and be comfortable using telephone.
- Ability to create or learn how to create digital marketing plans.
- A qualification (or relevant demonstrable experience) within the industry.
Desirable Skills
- Multi-media production.
- Knowledge of Wordpress.
- Knowledge of Content Creation tools.
- Social media experience or qualification.
- Be prepared to use marketing and sales technology platforms.
- Having used CRM or Marketing Technology platforms previously.

The Employer is: SOCIAL ENTERPRISE NI. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position.
