Estimator/Quantity Surveyor-(Planned Delivery)
Job description
The post holder will assist the Commercial Manager, Operations Manager and Planned Maintenance Supervisors to deliver the service by analysing construction project costs, preparing estimates, negotiating maintenance contracts to ensure optimal value for money while adhering to budgetary constraints, and to generate sufficient revenue from completed works. This role does not require any travel to mainland UK, and offers great work-life balance..
Responsibilities
- Assist the Commercial Manager, Operations Manager and Planned Maintenance Supervisors to deliver the service by analysing construction project costs, preparing estimates
- Negotiating maintenance contracts to ensure optimal value for money while adhering to health and safety
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Working towards, or hold Membership of RICS
- 2 years' commercial experience in delivery of projects
- Public Procurement Experience
- Working knowledge of National Housing Federation Schedule of Rates
- Experience in delivering VFM in Planned projects or similar
- Demonstrable experience delivering on time within budget
- Licence and access to car
