Job description

To work within a team to develop and deliver personalised support and care services to adults with learning disabilities/mental health issues, in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.

Responsibilities

• To work within a team to develop and deliver personalised support and care services to adults with learning disabilities/mental health issues, in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• QCF/NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent
• 6 months experience in a formal or informal care/support role and previous experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities/ mental health issues.
• Must be currently registered with NISCC or if new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months.
• Or 1 years experience in a formal or informal care/support role and previous experience of working with individuals with Learning Disabilities/ Mental Health issues
• And must be currently registered with NISCC or if new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months.
