Covering all press related duties for MLA. .

Responsibilities

• Monitoring events in Assembly and ensuring MLA is fully briefed on potential questions and motions to be put to the House.
• Drafting speeches/briefing papers, press releases, opinion pieces and content for a range of social media platforms.
• Analysing, evaluating and interpreting press, broadcast and social media to ensure Member is accurately informed on key issues.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Degree (or equivalent qualification) and at least two years' relevant experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the political landscape.
• Experience working in a political setting.
• A proven commitment to Sinn Féin's values.
