To oversee the running of your section to the outlined company standards. To manage the smooth running of your section before, during and after service..
Responsibilities
- To ensure all food being served to guests and staff is prepared to the outlined company standards.
- To ensure stock rotation carried out correctly and wastage recorded.
- To adhere to HACCP/COSHH standards.
- To carry out cleaning schedule and record on a daily basis.
- To carry out temperature readings and record on a daily basis.
- Adhere to company's procedures if working in another hotel department.
- To participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance.
- Always wear clean suitable uniform and ensure a high level of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Observe all requirements under health and safety regulations.
- To upkeep company's equal opportunities policy to ensure a neutral working environment.
- To keep staff/work areas tidy, safe and report any hazard, accident, loss or damage to management and to observe all requirements under current health and safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to run food and drinks service on a busy floor.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
