Job description

Work alongside the Store Manager and Bar Manager to assist with stock ordering and storage. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to: The correct storage of deliveries as well as maintaining back of house and public areas to a high standard..

Responsibilities

• To receive drink deliveries from suppliers and check against delivery dockets and order sheets.
• To report any irregularities/breakages to delivery person and to accounts personnel.
• To store deliveries in an organised manner ensuring that the 'first in, first out' procedure is being adhered to.
• To ensure storage of stock in a manner that prevents breakage or theft.
• To ensure that bars are fully stocked in advance of service.
• To ensure relevant bottles are either recycled or crated for collection.
• Work in accordance with standard procedures within each department.
• To participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance.
• Wear clean suitable uniform and name badge at all times and ensure a high level of hygiene
• Observe all requirements under health and safety regulations.
• To keep staff/work areas tidy, safe and report any hazard, accident, loss or damage to management and observe all requirements under current health and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Exceptional organisation skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office to include Excel.

Further Information

The Employer is: CLOVER PUBS NI. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
